Powered by the sun
Gokartcentralen Kungälv runs on solar power. Roof mounted solar panels feed clean electricity straight into the facility, so the energy behind your laps is not coming from far away. It is produced right here, above the track, whenever the sun is out.
During the summer months the system reaches its peak. The panels can supply all karting sessions on their own, covering the full daily demand for racing. From the first heat to the last final, every overtake, every push, every fast lap can be driven on pure sunlight. No direct emissions, no extra load on the grid, just electric karting powered by nature.
